The EC/ML9830B analyzer generates infrared radiation (IR) that is absorbed by the
CO within the 5-meter folded pathlength. The gas filter correlation wheel facilitates
rejection of interferents and the narrow band-pass filter ensures measuring
only the CO-sensitive IR wavelengths.
